E.A. Nelson Company, Inc. is a versatile business providing equipment sales, rental parts and service to a broad spectrum of clients.  Founded in 1958 by Early A. Nelson, the company was initially a specialist in the painting and coating industry.  During the 1960’s, Mr. Nelson recognized the need for expansion into the compressor and sandblasting market.  During this period, E.A. Nelson Co., began a relationship with Sullair. 

E.A. Nelson Co., Inc. continued progressive growth over the next twenty years with the creation of American Abrasive Air and Service, Inc. Nelco, and Nelson Equipment Company.  Throughout this growth period, the need to separate the sales, rental, parts, and service business from the contracting portion of the business arose.  E.A. Nelson Co., Inc., specializing in compressed air, opened at its current location in Florence, AL. 

The company provides products and services to a diverse group of major firms located throughout the Southeastern United States.

Since its inception in 1958, E.A.
